Visual identity for a vintage and contemporary art and design gallery.
Ampersand House and Gallery is a 19th century private maison de maître in the “golden triangle” of Brussels. A hand-carved Welsh slate plaque with the “ampersand” symbol is the only hint from the outside that the doors will open to reveal a house of grand proportions with a sweeping staircase, classical proportions, high windows and vast English garden.
Ampersand House is a living gallery where the gallerists both live and work. The Gallery specializes in vintage and contemporary art and design. The Gallery is an ever-changing mise en scène that evolves with the collections, collaborations and exhibitions. Specialists in mid-century art and design, the gallerists work with an international network of artists, designers and co-curators to bring together special exhibitions as well as source unique and bespoke objects.
